School is almost out for summer, but TEP employees are collecting school supplies for students at Blenman Elementary School until April 30.
On May 10, more than 30 TEP employees will volunteer to teach K-5 grade students during TEP’s 6th Annual Junior Achievement Day. On JA Day, we teach kids about financial literacy with age-appropriate lessons on money, budgeting and taxes.
In previous years, some TEP volunteers brought school supplies with them on JA Day to donate to the classes. This year, TEP is hosting a company-wide drive to collect as many supplies as possible for Blenman students.
“We always enjoy the genuine appreciation that we receive from teachers and students when we bring in school supplies to share,” said Lindsay Poole, TEP Accounts Payable Supervisor who organized the drive. “We hope to collect enough donations to provide students with supplies for the rest of this year that will last well into the 2019-2020 school year.”
