New Construction Application
This program offers rebates to business customers to reduce the initial cost of purchasing and installing energy efficient equipment for the construction of a new building.
Application Process
- Submit the following pre-application documents provided below:
- Part 1: Pre-Application
- Part 2: The appropriate Prescriptive and/or Custom Measure Worksheet(s) – see below
- Receive notice of reservation of funds.
- Install equipment.
- Submit the following final application documents:

- Part 2: The appropriate Prescriptive and/or Custom Measure Worksheet(s) – see below
- Receive rebate approximately 4-6 weeks after submitting completed application.

Eligibility Notes
All TEP non-residential customers are eligible for rebates under this program. Any energy-efficient design work undertaken or equipment purchased prior to January 1, 2024 is not eligible for a rebate.

Due to revisions to the 2023 Business Energy Solutions program, previous program applications and worksheets cannot be used. Please download the updated application and supporting materials and submit these for your 2024 projects.
Rebates for energy efficient new construction are capped at 50% of the incremental cost of the energy efficient measures and limited to a maximum of $75,000 per project per year.
