Located on 500 acres, this single-axis tracker system was built on a site chosen based on its compliance with an Environmental Protection Agency program to construct renewable energy projects on abandoned land. Combined with an adjacent system completed in February 2016, the Avalon solar site is among the largest operations of its kind in TEP’s service territory.
