Investing in Our Community
TEP’s dedication to service extends beyond providing safe, reliable power. For more than 130 years, we’ve remained true to our vision of improving the quality of life in the communities we serve.
TEP’s financial, in-kind and volunteer contributions have significant, measurable impact in our community. Our contributions are funded with company resources, not with customers’ rates. We focus our philanthropic investments in four specific areas:
Through our investments, we help feed the hungry; provide shelter, direction and hope for homeless teens and adults; and educate youth in science, technology, engineering and math. We also support teachers by providing school supplies, classroom grants and funding for field trips.

Our 2023 Community Impact: By the Numbers
We improve the quality of life for the elderly, disabled and those with limited incomes by funding critical home repairs that increase their safety and comfort while reducing their energy bills.
We help protect Arizona’s delicate desert ecosystem by working with environmental and wildlife groups to eradicate invasive buffelgrass and to provide safe nesting sites and veterinary care for birds of prey. We also give students the opportunity to explore science and the environment in their natural world.
These are just a few examples of our commitment to community engagement. Join us in our efforts!
Customer Assistance
In addition to our philanthropic efforts, we provide several Customer Assistance programs. If you or someone you know is having difficulty paying utility bills or needs assistance with making energy efficiency improvements, TEP can help. We offer discounts for customers with limited incomes, payment extension plans and weatherization assistance to those who qualify.
